The Mystery of Shemini Atzeret
On the Eighth Day

".........the Feast of Tabernacles for seven days to YHVH. On the eighth day you have a set apart convocation and you shall offer an offering made by fire to YHVH. It is a sacred assembly, and you shall do no customary work on it. These are the feasts of YHVH." Lev. 23:34-36;2

We see in the Word that the seven days of Sukkot-Tabernacles is a picture of the Final Harvest or Ingathering!
It is as we come to Shemini Atzeret we see it as the "Great Day of the Feast!"

"On the last day, that great day of the feast, Yeshua stood and cried out, saying, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living waters." John 7:37

This day is a day of "great salvation!"

So what is the hidden meaning of the eighth day?

It is a day to join in a solemn assembly to pray and then celebrate and rejoice for having the very essence in our inner being of joy and rejoicing!

The picture of Shemini Atzervet is of a very intimate union and fellowship
as the bride and the Groom!

We see at this season the ingathering, the great harvest
as we observe Shemini Atzeret we are looking into the very threshold of "New Beginnings!"
His Kingdom Comes and His Will Being Done!

"For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former shall not be remembered or come to mind. But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create; for behold, I create Jerusalem as a rejoicing and her people a joy. I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in My people...."
Isaiah 65:17-19
During the Sukkot water ceremony Yeshua came on the eighth day and revealed Himself
that He was the LIGHT of the world!
Great lamps of gold were lite and the light shown all over Jerusalem and to the surrounding towns. The people would sing and dance! At dawn the assembly of people proceeded with melody and song to the spring of Shiloam at the foot of the walls of Jerusalem.
The priest would carry a special golden decanter and fill it with the spring water.
Then the congregation ascended again to the Temple- the priest would take the decanter up to the altar and pour the water into the silver cups at the corners.
At this time there was much prayers and yearning for rain for the coming year!

"For out of Zion shall go forth the Torah and the Word of YHVH from Jerusalem."Isaiah 2:3
"O house of Jacob, come and let us walk in the LIGHT of YHVH." Isaiah 2:5

At the Nicanorr Gate- at the Women's Court during Sukkot was where all the joyous celebration occurred.
Yeshua our Koden Gadol High Priest of the eternal covenant is our rejoicing as we can have access to the Heavenly Temple. We are now members of the greater Temple and part of His Body part of the His Great Sukkah!

As I was preparing this word on the eighth day and studying more about the water liberation, I found that all religious belief systems have some sort of water liberation ceremonies and taking note of this I realized that when Yeshua our Messiah shared that" if anyone thirsts, let him come to Me for a drink, He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his being will flow rivers of living water."
All nations would understand this if they had practiced this water ritual in their belief system.
"Ho! Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters.........Listen SHEMA carefully to Me......Hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you." Isa. 55:1-3

"Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of YHVH's house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it. Many people shall come and say, "Come, and let us go up to the mountain of YHVH, to the House of Elohim of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, and we will walk in His paths." Isa. 2:2-3

"In that day it shall be that living waters shall flow from Jerusalem.....And YHVH shall be King over all the earth, in that day it shall be YHVH is One- Echad and His Name One!" Zech. 14:8-9

"Thus the Messiah will come, and all the saints with HIM!" Zech. 14:5

Sukkot
What is it to have a fruitful walk? Is it to have knowledge, or a display in charitable giving, or an expression of emotion of extravagrant love or is it in our obedience? As we focus on these fruits the etrog resembles our heart, the lulav palm branches our spine, hadasim the myrtle leaves our eyes, aravot willow branches our lips! In all these they represent spiritually our need to utilize all of our abilities for our Beloved in our walk!
What is our relationship with YHVH?
Is it according to the Scripture or do we follow the traditions of man? How do we truly know if we are walking in Spirit and in truth?
In Leviticus 23:1-2 YHVH shares the feast days are His, a set apart time for His people!
Lev. 23:33-38 "...the Feast of Tabernacles for seven days to YHVH-... a set apart convocation!
As well as the eighth day!
Are you seeing what He is telling us here?
He shares in verse 40 we are to gather the fruit of the land , palm branches, boughs of leafy trees, and willows and rejoice before Him for seven days! And we are to keep this feast dwelling in booths for these appointed times! This is not only for us personally in our spiritual lifes but also symbolic that we are sojourners longing for our eternal home and a sign to all nations we are actively obeying what YHVH has commannded us to do! The eighth day we rest in Him which will be eternally our Sabbathical rest with Him!

Rejoicing in Him! This is our joy knowing that He will come and take us "Gilgul" with Him our T'chiyah! It is such a wonderful time of rejoicing knowing these set apart times He has given to us to know His ways, which leads us to understand what is the  life of righteousness, self control and the judgment to come  (Acts 24:24-25).
"And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His essence, the essence as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth." John 1:14
Y'shua came to us at this time so we could be apart of His eternal 8th day covenant! Rejoicing in the eternal Torah! Our Messiah is the living Torah!
As I sat outside under my sukka today reading, praying, with worship and study, joyfully thankful, and full of grace I heard a flute dancing gently on the wind of His Ruach ha Kodesh, His Spirit, as the fragrance of lilies filled my senses with such gratitude and overflowing tears for the abundance of all He has done for us!
I know My Husband is coming soon and I am preparing to be where He has called me to be with Him, in that secret place, tabernacling in the shelter of the Most High El Elyon!
"My Lover is mine, and I am His, He feeds among the liles. Arise, my darling, come away, my (yafe) beautiful one." S of S 2:13

"You are the ONE that awakens my love." S of S 2:7

Why should a believer in the Messiah Yeshua
 keep Yom Kippurim?
Is it by works?
Is it by faith?
Can you answer these questions?
Is it a calling?
What do you say it is?
Lev. 23:26-32 tells us it is a day of atonement!
And yes by the blood of Yeshua our sins are atoned for! And yes we have been forgiven and you are cleansed by His blood of your sins!
So why then shall we keep this day?
Is it symbolic for us?

The High Priest would offer a animal to pay the price for the sins of the people. And was and is still to this day a time to fast and pray! We see there was two atonements! The second goat, a scapegoat-( the goat of Azazel) the sins of the people of Israel were to be placed upon it and sent into the wilderness. As we too wandered through the wilderness of life carrying our own sins till we came to receive the call to be His redeemed ones through the Son of Elohim the Father of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob!
These two animals are symbolic for our Messiah Yeshua.
Before Yeshua's sacrifice, the blood of animals could only cover man's sin,not take them away!

By Yeshua's blood sprinkled on our hearts changing our status from unclean to clean
from stony hearts to hearts of flesh. Eze. 36:24-29
Our hearts have two chambers-Yeshua is our High Priest who has entered into our hearts!
The curtain has been torn in two now!

So we can enter into the Most Set Apart Place and have access to the Father through His Son!
All we see in the beginning we will see in the end!
Isa. 46:10

There is so very much to be said about this time , this appointed time by YHVH!

This Day of Atonement is symbolic for the Final Harvest-the Judgment Day!

Rev.14:14-20:20:11-15

These Fall Feast Days are the brides preparation for His Coming!

As we seek Him and His grace through HaShem Yeshua we will find His Mercy and Forgiveness to live for Him as we ought to without shame!

Let us seek Him now before the door is shut for"... not everyone that says "Master, Master, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of the Father in heaven. Many will say in that day, Master, Master, have we not prophesied in Your Name, cast out demons in Your Name, and done many wonders in Your Name? And then I will declare to them, "I never knew you, depart from Me, you who practice Torahlessness (lawlessness)!" Matthew 7:21-23
Let us awaken to the times we are in and know that He wants His bride awaiting His coming- and how will we know? We have kept our date, our lamps burning, with Him as He has called us to keep His Appointed Times with HIM!
"and the Bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with Him to the wedding, and the door was shut." Matthew 25:10

Lev. 23:4 :These are the feasts of YHVH, set apart (holy)convocations which you shall proclaim at their appointed times."

              PEOPLE NEED YHVH!

People need Yahushua His Son the Messiah
Who IS and Who WAS and Who Is To Come!

The other day as I was waiting for the bus a beautiful women from Jordan was there with her sister.
I was visiting with her, and she asked if I was of any faith and what I believed!
I was able to share the Word with her, and give her the Scriptures that morning I had prayed I would
have someone the Father was drawing to Himself.
She took His Word from me and began to read from it.
She asked me, is this a gift for me?
I said, yes it is yours!
Please pray for her and her household to be saved in Yeshua our Messiah!
Acts 16:25-31 "But at midnight (which it is spiritually) Paul and Silas were praying and signing hymns to Elohim and the prisoners were listening (those in captivity are listening-shema). Suddenly............earthquake, doors opened to the prisoners and the keeper was about to take his life when Paul shared.."do not harm yourself, for we are all here." The keeper of the prison said, "Sir, what must I do to be saved?" Paul and Silas spoke the Word of YHVH and all who were in his house...so they said to them, "Believe on the Master Y'shua the Messiah, and you and your household will be saved." The family was baptized, then the guard served them food and rejoiced , having believed in Elohim with all his household."

The creation of the world !
Many here in Israel believe it was on this day!
Yet the Scripture tells us in Exodus 12:2 "This month shall be your beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year to you."This was the time of the Passover!
So not to confuse you- but to make you think- we must study His Word to show ourselves approved in what we say, think, and share! Yes!
Yom Teruach
Feast of Trumpets
Rosh HaShanah

Tishrei 1,5773

Rosh HaShanah

Rosh means "chief-head"
Ha means "the"
Shanah means "year"
Bereshith (Genesis) 1:1 "In the beginning......"
Elohim created everything by His Word
In the Hebrew made is "asah"
He formed "yatsar"!

As our Father is turning all eyes on Israel the focus once again is on Jerusalem. The place of beginnings is also the place of endings. And Elohim's endings are always glorious.

There are so many meanings for this time of the year!
Yom-hahno-hah-eem
The 10 days of awe!
A time of repentance and to prepare for Yom Kippur!
A time to not come empty-handed! A time to seek YHVH's face!

For all He is and all He has done for us!
Let us give Him thanksgiving and praise!

Three strands are braided together on Rosh HaShana to give significance
to the over all theme of the feast which are:
1) to honor Elohim 2) a day of remembrance 3) time for spiritual awakening
Eph. 5:14 "Awake sleeper..arise from the dead and Messiah will shine on you."
Now is the time to awaken to the breathe of His Spirit-Yom Teruach!
Truly the wind of His Spirit blew powerfully throughout the Land today!
He is here to awaken the hearts of His people!
Pray like never before- the time is
 NOW!

YOM TERUACH

FEAST OF TRUMPETS

ROSH HaSHANAH !

what day is this? is it all the same day? why does it have three names on september 16-17, 2012?

or is it elul 29-tishrei 1,5773?

so how do we know what this day is truly?
in leviticus 23:4 "these are the feasts of YHVH (His feast days) a set apart convocation which you shall proclaim at their appointed times."
leviticus 23:27 "then YHVH spoke to Moses, saying, speak to the children of Israel, saying;'in the seventh month on the first day of the month, you shall have a sabbath-rest, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a set apart convocation. you shall do no customary work on it........."
this feast day is not only very sacred it is very important in a symbolic way-
it is a call for spiritual gathering!
it is a time for 10 days of awe to seek YHVH's face and turn to Him with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength!

the day is soon approaching when no man can work........
what does this mean in john 9:4-5? Yeshua shared this Word with His disciples!
"I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. As long as I am in the world, I Am the Light of the world."

it is also a day referred to as a day of judgment, Yeshua said in
john 5:24-27 that He has been given authority to execute judgment!
in 1 tim 4:1 He is the Judge of the "living and the dead !"
we see in Rev. 21:27 that our Father has a book called the Lamb's Book of Life!
the only way we know we are written in it is our devotion and love towards Him and His Son Yeshua.giving ourselves wholly to Him, in total abandonment and committed betrothal.
john 10:27-30
"my sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me
and I give them eternal life and they shall never perish, neither shall anyone snatch them out of My Father's hand. I and My Father are One
Echad!"
this is the time to awake!!!!

L'shanah tovah tikatevoo
may we be inscribed in the book of life

KYRIAT YEARIM

Interestingly I was at Kyriat Yearim and I found a paleo Hebrew "dalet" in a painting on the wall and the floor of the church that was built on the grounds where they said The Ark of the Covenant rested after the Philistines returned it to Qiryat -Baal.
What I want to note here is the different visual pictures I received while there and share how it was a very prophetic day viewing all I saw. I know a dear sister in the Messiah who was sharing that one August night they had seen in Western Texas in the sky a form of three stars which was Mars, Saturn, and Spica which form a celestial triangle. This conjunction was joined during August with the cresent moon.

What is so interesting about all this is as I went into the church I saw a dalet on the mosaic ceramic tile floor near the altar! And a painting of King Dawid playing a harp and the Torah/Tanakh with a "dalet" above the Word. Well, I was amazed to see this after reading what this woman had shared about seeing in the shamayim (heavens) a beautiful DALET!

The Scriptures says:
 Rev. 4:1-2
"After these things (the era of the seven assemblies) I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, "Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this." Immediately I was in the Ruach ha Kadosh; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne.
Rev.11:19 "Then the temple of Elohim was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple. And there were lightenings, noises, thunderings, and earthquake, and great hail." Then in Revelation 12 shows a woman, the child and dragon and this is the next sign we will see in the heavens this September-Genesis 1:14"Then Elohim said,"Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from night; and let them be for signs and (appointed) seasons (feasts) and for days and years."
Rev. 12:1-2 "Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars- (all twelve will be visable as it was last year! (the regathering of the twelve tribes). Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth. "Please read on into this chapter for there is many signs He is revealing during this season.
Getting back to the Ark of the Covenant I wanted to share a couple of things with you as far as how powerful this day was at Kyriat-Yearim.
The DALET the triangle formation of the stars seen in the sky this month was in the shape of the ancient Paleo "dalet" in the Hebrew language. It is one of the oldest written languages.
Overtime Proto-Sinaitic became the Phoenician Script also known as "Paleo Hebrew"... and the Scribe Ezra changed it to the script that is used today in the Hebrew language.
So the DALET looks like a triangle in the Paleo script and it has the meaning of a door! And here in the photo where the Ark was to have rested I see this painting of a dalet in the picture as well as an open door!
Rev. 11:19 we see the Ark being in heaven in YHVH's temple! When the door is " opened
in heaven and the ark of His covenant will be seen in it...."
This day was also filled with much insight of His heart for His Land Israel.
Jer.31:35-37 "Thus said YHVH, Who gives the sun for a light by day, the ordinances of the moon and the stars for a light by night..........if those ordinances depart from before Me says YHVH, the seed of Yisra'el shall also cease from being a nation before Me forever."

During the Canaanite Period:
called BAALAH
was the place were a sanctuary to an ancient goddess stood. During the Hebrew Period: it was called in Hebrew: Qiryat-Baal: City of Baal. Then was changed over time to Kyriat-Yearim. Hosea 2:16-20 "And it shall be in that day," says YHVH, that you will call Me, My Husband and no longer call Me, My Master, for I will take from her mouth the names of the Baals, and they shall be remembered no more. In that day I will make a covenant for them....bow and sword of battle I will shatter from the earth, to make them lie down safely. I will betroth you to Me forever; Yes, I will betroth you to Me in righteousness and justice, in lovingkindness and mercy. I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness, and you shall KNOW YHVH."

I had just read early the morning I had gone to Kyriat-Yearim the Word in Zech. 13:2 "It shall be in that day,"says YHVH of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols from the Land, and they will no longer be remembered."

There down the road from Kyriat-Yearim was Elvis. This is the season of Teshuvah- a time of returning Hosea 14:1 "O Israel, return to YHVH your Elohim, for you have stumbled because of your inquities. Take WORDS with you; and return to YHVH, say to Him, 'take away all iniquity; receive us graciously, for we will offer the sacrifices (fruit)of our lips.......even Ephraim shall say, 'What have I to do anymore with idols?'
I have heard and observed him. I am like a green cypress tree; Your fruit is found in ME."
Who is wise?
Let him understand these things.
Who is prudent?
Let him know them.
For the ways of YHVH are right;
The righteous walk in them'
But transgressors stumble in them."

 SHALL NOT JUDAH BE DELIVERED?

Behold,I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all surrounding peoples when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall happen in that day that all people who would heave away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.

And the governors (Prime Minister) of Judah like a firepan in the woodpile, and like a fiery torch in the sheaves they shall devour all the surrounding peoples on the right hand and on the left, but Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place-Jerusalem.

And I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all people, all who would heave it away will surely be cut to pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.

The governors of Yehudah (Judah) shall say in their hearts, "The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength in YHVH of Hosts, their Elohim."
YHVH will save the tents of Yehudah first, so that the glory of the house of Dawid and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall not become greater than that of Yehudah. In that day YHVH will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the one who is feeble
among them in that day shall be like Dawid, and the house of Dawid shall be like Elohim, like the Angel of YHVH before them.

It shall be in that day that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem!

And I will pour on the house of Dawid and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they shall look on ME whom they have pierced. Yes, and will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for HIM as one grieves for a firstborn. In that day there shall be a great mourning..........
In that day a fountain shall be opened for the house of Dawid and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for the sin.....it shall be in that day.......I will cut off the names of the idols........it shall be in that day........every prophet will be ashamed of his vision when he prophesies........and one will say ..."what are these wounds between your arms?".........then he will answer, "those with which I was wounded in the house of MY friends."  selah
