YOM TERUACH
FEAST OF TRUMPETS
ROSH HaSHANAH !
what day is this? is it all the same day? why does it have three names on september 16-17, 2012?
or is it elul 29-tishrei 1,5773?
so how do we know what this day is truly?
in leviticus 23:4 "these are the feasts of YHVH (His feast days) a set apart convocation which you shall proclaim at their appointed times."
in leviticus 23:4 "these are the feasts of YHVH (His feast days) a set apart convocation which you shall proclaim at their appointed times."
leviticus 23:27 "then YHVH spoke to Moses, saying, speak to the children of Israel, saying;'in the seventh month on the first day of the month, you shall have a sabbath-rest, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a set apart convocation. you shall do no customary work on it........."
this feast day is not only very sacred it is very important in a symbolic way-
it is a call for spiritual gathering!
it is a time for 10 days of awe to seek YHVH's face and turn to Him with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength!
the day is soon approaching when no man can work........
what does this mean in john 9:4-5? Yeshua shared this Word with His disciples!
"I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. As long as I am in the world, I Am the Light of the world."
it is also a day referred to as a day of judgment, Yeshua said in
john 5:24-27 that He has been given authority to execute judgment!
in 1 tim 4:1 He is the Judge of the "living and the dead !"
we see in Rev. 21:27 that our Father has a book called the Lamb's Book of Life!
the only way we know we are written in it is our devotion and love towards Him and His Son Yeshua.giving ourselves wholly to Him, in total abandonment and committed betrothal.
john 10:27-30
"my sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me
and I give them eternal life and they shall never perish, neither shall anyone snatch them out of My Father's hand. I and My Father are One
Echad!"
this is the time to awake!!!!
L'shanah tovah tikatevoo
may we be inscribed in the book of life
